Zae Sellers (Women's Basketball)
Fifth-year vet Zae Sellers (Minneapolis, MN) was unstoppable this past Wednesday vs the Seneca Sting. The veteran guard made her presence known as she dropped 26 points in 30 minutes of play including shooting 4-6 from beyond the arc. Sellers also added 2 rebounds, 7 assists and 1 steal to her stat line against the Sting. "Zae really set the tone with her approach offensively and defensively. She continues to be a terrific leader for our program", says Head Coach Warren Williams. Sellers and the Women's Basketball team will now prepare to take on UTM on Wednesday, Oct. 30th in Mississagua. Tip-off scheduled for 6PM.
Grayson Engelman (Men's Volleyball)
First year rookie Grayson Engelman (Toronto, ON) was a key resason for the Huskies dominant performances over the weekend against La Cite and Algonquin. The setter made a major impact on the offence, collecting 51 assists in two games with a season high 31 against the Thunder. Engelman also was able to record 2 blocks and 1 serving ace in the game against La Cite. "Grayson has really stood out for us on the court, keeping his teammates focused and communicating with them in between points and timeouts. He also brings a beach type of mentality that allows for him to be very versatile on the court", says Assistant Coach Nick Baker-Bell. Engelman and the Men's Volleyball team will now head to Belleville to take on Loyalist on Sunday, November 3rd. Start time scheduled for 3PM.
