HUSKIES GO 3 FOR 4 ON THE ROAD WEDNESDAY NIGHT

With four Huskies teams on the road this past Wednesday night, George Brown comes away with three victories. 

The Women's and Men's Basketball teams travelled to Barrie to face the Georgian Grizzlies for the first time this season. The Women would lead from the get-go and never look back, taking the contest comfortably by a final score of 81-32. Rachel Steer and Victoria Lawrence led the way for the visitors with 17 points a piece. >FULL BOXSCORE

The Men had a more back and forth contest, with the Grizzlies jumping out to an early 7-0 lead. The Huskies would find their offensive flow half way through the first quarter however, coming out of the opening frame with a 29-13 advantage. Georgian would win the next three quarters, but could not close the gap on the large advantage the Huskies held after the first and George Brown held on for the 83-77 win. >FULL BOXSCORE

Out East, the Men's and Women's Volleyball teams battled Fleming in Peterborough. The Women's team came out firing on all cylinders, taking the first set 25-12 following an incredibly efficient 12 kills on 27 total attacks, with only one error. Alina Karpovnikova would lead the Huskies to a straight sets 3-0 victory (25-12, 26-24, 25-18) with 12 points on a kill percentage of .412 (11 kills, 4 errors, 27 total attacks). >FULL BOXSCORE

On the Men's side, while the visiting Huskies would get out to an early lead winning the first set 25-18, home court advantage proved to be on the Knights' side as they would take the next three straight sets to beat George Brown 3-1 (25-18, 14-25, 23-25, 14-25). Yuseph Jackman talled 13 kills on the night while Kendrick Gamsawen recorded 10 digs. >FULL BOXSCORE
