HOW TO STAY PHYSICALLY HEALTHY AT HOME

Staying healthy at home

The world has completely changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and ultimately affected everyone’s lives. What seemed normal was quickly erased. The Athletics and Recreation department understands this a hard time for all students, and we want to do our part to support you during this difficult time.

In response, we have put together tips and information to assist you in maintaining your physical health. Physical health is essential to fighting off diseases, preserving a good state of mind and keeping you motivated.

Thanks to our certificated fitness instructors, we have recorded online fitness classes you can do at any time in the comfort of your own home. This includes Yoga, High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and Tabata Cardio classes.

If you want to push yourself even more, we posted numerous daily challenges on our @gbcrecreation Instagram account with the assistance of Huskies’ Athletic Therapists Shawn and Clare.

Even though our normal has changed, let’s come together and make the best out of this situation! Check out the all the tips and classes you can take advantage of by visiting our Staying Healthy at Home page.
