Huskies badminton put together their third straight strong performance to open the season in London this weekend, winning a pair of titles and earning five runner-up finishes at the Fanshawe Invitational.
As he has all year, Ace Zeng paced the squad, winning a men's doubles title with partner Mike Ra in "A" flight play while making a semi-final appearance in men's singles "A" flight competition.
Anh Hoang had herself a solid weekend as well, winning the women's doubles "B" flight title with partner Jess Maher of Georgian. She also earned a runner-up finish in women's singles "A" flight competition.
Eric Kern, Alex Chao, John Lee and Ryu Buth also all managed to earn runner-up finishes over the course of the weekend.
