HUSKIES COME AWAY WITH MULTIPLE MEDALS AT KIM NG OPEN

Huskies player Gavin Robinson jumps to hit birdie

Nationally ranked #2 George Brown College was host to the annual Kim Ng Badminton Open this past December 7-8, 2019. The tournament, named after 35-year Huskies coaching alumnus Kim Ng, is held annually at the St James Athletic Centre and welcomes both OCAA colleges as well as competitive club players from the Toronto-area.

This year, the event saw over 50 athletes compete in the five major disciplines. The field included 10 current George Brown Huskies athletes, six Huskies alumni, and all three members of the coaching staff. All fared quite well in an extremely competitive field of former CCAA national medalists and top club players in the Greater Toronto Area.
