HUSKIES PUSH WINNING STREAK TO 11

The George Brown Huskies men's basketball team continued dominance by extending their winning streak to 11 straight with a 114-75 victory over the Fleming Knights on the road Friday night.

Notable Stats: First-year forward Naseem Barry came off the bench to register a game-high 21 points, going 9-for-11 from the floor, while adding five rebounds and a block. The veteran Kingslee D'Silva chipped in with 16 points and nine rebounds on the night.

Third-year guard Chris Fields put up 15 points and dished out a game-high seven assists in the victory. Robert Ocampo and Khadar Gaal also hit double-digit points recording 13 and 11 respectively.

The Huskies displayed their overall depth with 12 players making a basket and the team shooting over 67% from the field in the contest.

Fleming was led by guard Christian Edwards, who posted a team-high 19 points in a losing effort.

Up Next: The Huskies will play two games next week, with the first being on the road Tuesday night against the Durham Lords. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 pm.
