HUSKIES DROP TO DURHAM

The men's basketball team fell 90-64 to the Durham Lords on the road on Tuesday (Jan. 16) night.

The Huskies came into this game ranked 15th in the CCAA, while the Lords were ranked seventh.

Notable Stats: Fifth-year Jeremiah Brown posted 18 points, six rebounds and three steals off the bench.

Third-year guard Jacob Masters filled up the stats sheet with 11 points, six rebounds, five assists and two steals, while fourth-year Derrick Taylor recorded 10 points, three rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block in the loss.

George Brown's record dropped to 9-3 on the season, which put them in second in the East Division. On the other hand, Durham pushes two games up for first in the East Division with an 11-1 record.

UP NEXT: The Huskies look to get back in the win column when they battle the Fleming Phoenix on the road Friday (Oct. 17) night. Tip-off is scheduled for 7pm.
