HUSKIES DROP SEASON FINALE TO DURHAM

The men's basketball team fell 86-78 to the CCAA No. 5 Durham Lords at home on Friday (Feb. 7) night.

NOTABLE STATS: Nas Robert tallied a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds, including a career-high eight offensive boards.

Iffy Chiekwe contributed 15 points, seven rebounds, two steals, and a block., Kalyem Liburd-Mullings recorded 15 points, four rebounds, and a steal in the loss.

GRADUATING STUDENT-ATHLETES

George Brown College Athletics and Recreation would like to thank our graduating students for their commitment to the team over their Huskies careers. Our 2024-25 graduating Men's Basketball student-athletes are:  


#14 Nas Robert
The forward joined the program in 2022 and has been a great addition ever since. He was a part of two National Championship berths with the Huskies including one CCAA silver and two OCAA silver medals. During his career, he played in 39 games averaging 8.2 points, 4.7 rebounds a steal per game. He will be graduating from the Business program.

#23 Jevon Fray-Woodbine

Since joining the men's basketball team in 2023, he has been the perfect sharp-shooter. Last season, he played a key role in the team earning a National silver medal, the program's best results on the stage since 1976, and a OCAA silver medal as well. This season, he set career highs in almost all offensive categories. He played in 24 career games averaging 7.7 points, two rebounds and a steal per game. He will be graduating from the Early Childhood Education program.
