HUSKIES FALL TO No. 5 LORDS

The George Brown Huskies men's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (25-18, 25-15, 25-18) decision to the No. 5 Durham Lords in Oshawa, Ont., on Wednesday night.

Notable Stats: Second-year right-side hitter Vivek Mathimakki recorded a game-high 14 points off 10 kills, two aces and a pair of blocks, while adding five digs in the match. Second-year middle blocker Franstelle PeBenito was the next best Husky posting eight points on seven kills and an ace.

First-year setter Grayson Engelman recorded a game-high 16 assists and two points on the night.

Outside hitter Andrew Dube posted a team-high 13 points off 10 kills, two blocks and a block for Durham in the victory.

George Brown's record goes to 6-5 on the season, which puts them in a tie for fourth in the East division. Durham remains undefeated at 12-0 and sits first in the East division.
