HUSKIES DROP DECISION TO LORDS

The George Brown Huskies women's basketball team fell to the Durham Lords 71-57 on the road Tuesday night.

Notable Stats: Victoria Lawrence led the way for the Huskies with a game-high 25 points, eight rebounds, two blocks, and a steal. Fourth-year forward Coco Sauve was just shy of a double-double with nine points and 10 rebounds.

George Brown struggled offensively shooting 26.4%, going 19-of-72 from the floor, while also getting bullied in the paint being outscored 28 to 18.

First-year forward Kendra Oliver was the key cog for Durham posting a team-high 24 points, 17 rebounds and two steals in the victory.

With the loss, the Huskies record goes to 7-3 and drops them into third place in the East division, while the Lords at 8-2 take sole possession of second place.
