The George Brown Huskies women's volleyball team shutout the Georgian Grizzlies 3-0 (25-22, 25-17, 25-23) on the road Wednesday night.
Notable Stats: Outside hitter Angelique Agustin led the way with a game-high 16 points off nine kills, four aces and three blocks. Middle blocker Alina Karpovnikova registered 11 points on seven kills and four blocks in the match.
Left side hitter Ashley Lau was productive in various ways, she posted 10 points on seven kills and three aces as well as registering a game-high 11 digs. Outside hitter Mehi Memcaj chipped in with 10 points off nine kills and an ace.
Up Next: With the victory, the Huskies still have a chance to host the program's first playoff match ever. For this to happen, Georgian needs to lose to Durham, while George Brown must beat Seneca in their season finale on Friday, February 14th. Then it comes down to tiebreakers. The team will also honour four graduating players before the match. First serve is at 6pm.
