HUSKIES DROP DECISION TO No. 6 LORDS

The George Brown Huskies women's volleyball team fell in straight sets 3-0 (25-9, 25-22, 25-19) to the No. 6 Durham Lords in Oshawa, Ont., on Wednesday night.

Notable Stats: Second-year middle blocker Beatriz Vilches posted a team-high seven points off five kills, a block and an ace, while newcomer Megi Memcaj chipped in with five points on three kills and two blocks.

Once again third-year outside hitter Angelique Agustin played the match as a setter and she recorded a team-high 14 assists, seven digs and added two points.

The Lords were led by Allyson Terwillegar, who recorded a game-high 14 points on 10 kills, three blocks, and an ace.

George Brown's record drops to 6-5 on the season, which puts them fifth in the East division. Durham remains undefeated at 12-0 and sits first in the East division.
