Brianna Samuels-McLaughlin (Women's Soccer)
Despite two hard-fought losses to St. Lawrence College and Algonquin College second-year Dental Hygiene major Brianna Samuels-McLaughlin was a major offensive presence in both matches over the weekend. Samuels-McLaughlin scored all three of the team's goals against the Vikings and Thunder. She is currently riding a 3-game goal streak which she will look to extend to four games as the team faces off with Centennial on Saturday, October 12th on Seniors Day. Kick-off is set for 12PM
Josh Cipolla (Baseball)
Baseball hit the road this past Saturday and Sunday as they visited Lambton and St. Clair. Despite the 1-2 record, catcher Josh Cipolla had himself a strong performance at the plate going 5-8 over three games, batting a solid .625 over the weekend. Cipolla collected his third RBI of the season against Lambton and his first extra-base hit (double) of the season. Cipolla and the team will now get ready to battle their North city rival, the Seneca Sting, down at Christie Pits on Tuesday Night. First pitch is at 7PM.
