The George Brown men and women’s indoor soccer teams will officially kick-off their season on Friday January 27 as the Huskies host the George Brown College Indoor Soccer Tournament at the Ontario Soccer Centre in Vaughan, Ontario.
Participating schools will include Sheridan College, Lakehead University (Orillia), Conestoga College, Seneca College, Centennial College, St. Clair College, Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) and Laurier University (Brantford). This tournament will serve as a warm-up to the OCAA ‘A’ Regional at the Ontario Soccer Centre on February 27 with the top two teams per region, plus the top two third place finishers based on overall record of Regional Play.
Both the women and men's teams are in Pool A, with the women competing along Conestoga, Laurier Brantford, St. Clair, and Sault College. The men against Laurier Brantford, Durham, St. Clair, and Sault College.
Both programs will fight for a chance to compete in the OCAA Championship hosted by Sheridan College from March 9-10 at the Ontario Soccer Centre. The men’s program brought home OCAA gold during their 2018-19 season.
