MEN'S BASKETBALL HOLD NUMBER ONE SPOT IN ONTARIO
February 13, 2023The George Brown men’s basketball team (16-1) extended their win streak to 15 after sweeping their Eastern Ontario road trip in Ottawa over the weekend. The Huskies defeated the Algonquin Wolves (7-9) on Saturday (Feb 11) by a score of 93-83 and carried that momentum into their second game on Sunday (Feb 12) against the La Cite Coyotes (0-16) winning that contest 84-51.

January 23, 2023On Saturday (Jan 21), the George Brown women’s basketball team (1-7) lost a hard fought battle to the Durham Lords (9-1) by a score of 75-54. The Huskies men’s basketball team (10-1) extended their win streak to nine as they defeated the Durham Lords (9-3) 93-72. With the win, the team now sits atop the OCAA East division with seven games remaining in the regular season.
