DELA ROSA'S CAREER-HIGH POWERS HUSKIES OVER COLTS

The George Brown Huskies men's volleyball team snapped a four-match losing streak by taking down the Centennial Colts 3-2 (26-28, 25-17, 20-25, 25-20, 15-12) on the road Wednesday night.

NOTABLE STATS: First-year outside hitter Amiel Dela Rosa put together a career performance against the Colts. He tallied a match-high 18 points on 17 kills and an ace, while adding four digs. In addition, he recorded 17 kills on 28 attacks, which put his kill percentage at an unbelievable .464%. Second-year outside hitter Arsam Talebi posted over double-digit points for the second straight match with 15 points on 14 kills and a block in the victory.

Fourth-year outside hitter Nathanael Masson registered eight points on eight kills on the night.

UP NEXT: The Huskies (3-4, 6th East) wrap up their season on Saturday afternoon when they host the Algonquin Wolves (4-2, 4th East). First serve is scheduled for 3:00 pm.

The Huskies will honour all the graduating student-athletes prior to the match in the match game on Saturday.
