    In the final game of the regular season, the George Brown Huskies (3-11) hosted the St. Lawrence Surge on home court on Friday (Feb 17) where graduating Huskies were also celebrated. Unfortunately for the Huskies, they would fall to the Surge by a final score of 59-49 in favor of St. Lawrence.

    The George Brown women’s basketball team (2-9) lost to the Loyalist Lancers (5-6) 71-53 on Saturday (Feb 4). The men’s team extended their win streak to 13 to improve to 14-1 on the season after taking down the Loyalist Lancers 90-51.

    The George Brown men’s basketball team (13-1) extended their win streak to 12 after defeating the Centennial Colts by a final score of 105-86 Wednesday evening (Feb 2). The Huskies women’s basketball team (2-8) came up short as they fell to the Colts 62-52.

    On Saturday (Jan 21), the George Brown women’s basketball team (1-7) lost a hard fought battle to the Durham Lords (9-1) by a score of 75-54. The Huskies men’s basketball team (10-1) extended their win streak to nine as they defeated the Durham Lords (9-3) 93-72. With the win, the team now sits atop the OCAA East division with seven games remaining in the regular season.
