Email: Omari.Wiltshire@georgebrown.ca

Omari Wiltshire was named the head coach of the Huskies women's basketball team in June of 2020.

He first joined the George Brown women's basketball program in 2017 and served as the Assistant Coach for three seasons, where the team went 42-8 during that span.

He has been coaching basketball since 1997 at various levels, including the Toronto Raptors Basketball Development Community program and the Point Guard College. From 2008-2011, Wiltshire was an assistant coach with Centennial College women’s basketball team.

Omari's focus for student-athletes is to have them develop their individual package and see the game as a vehicle that will connect them to lifelong experiences and friends. He is looking to ignite his passion, disciple, dedication to the game and understanding of individual techniques to keep the athletes inspired in helping to create a growing and winning culture at George Brown.

In his third season at the helm, the team underwent a significant transformation this season, improving from a 3-11 record to 8-6 clinching third place in the East Division. George Brown showcased dominance across various statistical categories in the OCAA, including points per game and shooting percentages. They also clinched a home playoff game and win for the first time since 2020. Wiltshire's efforts earned him the OCAA East Division Coach of the Year title for the first time in his career.
