HUSKIES FALL AT SHERIDAN INVITATIONAL

The George Brown Huskies women's indoor soccer team dropped a couple of close matches and were unable to get out of the round-robin stage at the Sheridan Invitational on Saturday.

The Huskies opened the tournament falling 1-0 to Mohawk and 2-1 to St. Lawrence. Bianca Oriani scored the lone goal for George Brown in that span.

The team did bounce back later on in the day. Pamela Diaz's goal helped the Huskies shutout Laurier Brantford 1-0. But with the possibility of getting out of the group stage, George Brown was edged 4-0 by St. Clair.

Up Next: The Huskies will play their last tournament before the Regional Championship on Saturday, February 22nd at the Georgian Invitational in Barrie, Ontario.
