Men's soccer striker Christopher Badibengi and men's baseball first baseman Aiden Colangelo have been named Huskies athletes of the week for the period ending October 10th.
Badibengi was the most consistent threat for the Huskies in their two matches against the Seneca Sting. In game one, he scored a magnificent header in the 37th minute to tie the game at 1-1. His presence was felt through both matches as he helped generate numerous chances.
Colangelo continued to be the team's top hitter this season. He went 2-for-5 at the plate while recording a double and two RBIs in the doubleheader against the Durham Lords last Wednesday night.
