The George Brown Huskies men's basketball team extended their winning streak to an unprecedented 12 games with a 92-66 blow out victory over the Durham Lords on the road Tuesday night.
Notable Stats: Third-year guard Robert Ocampo drilled five three-pointers for a game-high 20 points in just 15 minutes of action. Derrick Taylor continued his impressive rookie season posting a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds, seven of which were offensive boards.
Veteran Kingslee D'Silva chipped in with a double-double of his own of 10 points and 14 rebounds. Fellow Huskies Naseem Barry, Chris Fields, and Haany Ahmed all hit the double-digit mark in points in the victory as well.
The Huskies were absolute monsters on the glass in Oshawa, Ont. They outrebounded the Lords 47 to 33, which included a season-high 15 offensive boards.
The team currently holds the best record in the East division at 12-1, while the Lords' record drops to 3-9 and places them in 9th.
