The George Brown Huskies women's basketball team were edge 70-33 to the Algonquin Wolves on Saturday afternoon at home.

NOTABLE STATS: Second-year guard Vanessa Vassell posted a team-high nine points, five rebounds and a block, while first-year guard Genève Biollo dropped a career-high eight points, two rebounds and two steals off the bench.

UP NEXT: The Huskies (2-4, 5th East) travel to Oshawa, Ont., to battle the Durham Lords (3-3, 4th East) on Wednesday night. George Brown must win if they want a chance to host a first-round playoff game. Tip off is scheduled for 6:00 pm.
