Following the departure of Omari Wiltshire, the George Brown Huskies are starting their search for the next head coach of their Women's Basketball program.

Wiltshire was appointed as lead assistant coach in 2017, and later hired as head coach in 2020 (COVID season). Over his three seasons as head coach, the team's record was 14-22 overall, with a postseason record of 1-3.

This past 2023-24 season, led by OCAA East Division 6^th Woman of the Year Jordyn Dawkins and OCAA All-Rookie team member Adrienne Williamson, the team not only hosted but also won a playoff game for the first time since 2020. They finished with an 8-6 record, finishing third place in the East Division. George Brown ranked in the top seven in the OCAA in points per game, field goal percentage, three-point percentage, opponents' field goal percentage and opponents' three-point percentage.

The Women's Basketball team has been a consistent threat in the OCAA over the years. The program has posted a 56-30 overall record in the last six seasons, including a notable first-place finish in the East Division in 2018. Additionally, the Huskies have hosted four crossover playoff games within this timeframe.
