The George Brown Huskies men's volleyball team (2-8) lost to the Seneca Sting (6-4) in three straight sets (19-25, 23-25, 24-26) Wednesday evening (Jan 11).
HOW IT HAPPENED: The Huskies entered this match after dropping their final game on the Fall semester to the Sting 3-1 back on December 3rd, 2022 and were looking to start the second half of their season in the win column.

In the 2nd set, the Huskies would settle in, playing to their strengths and preferred pace of play. Brandon Sher (2nd Year) returned to the line-up after an injury had put him on the sideline for the first half of the season. Sher would prove to be an offensive spark for George Brown as he finished the match with 11 kills on 24 attempts along with six digs, scoring 11 points for the Huskies. Despite Sher's impressive return, George Brown would go on to drop the set 25-23 and go down 2-0 in the match.

For the match, both David Kiswa (1st Year) and David Fountain (2nd Year) combined for 17 points and 16 digs. Along with 15 kills on 40 attempts. As a team. the Huskies had 18 kills in the 3rd set on 30 attempts with just one error. Despite the strong offensive showing, the Huskies would go on to lose the set 26-24 to the Sting.
