The Huskies dropped a close 1-0 decision to the UTM Eagles in the semi-finals at the GBC Indoor Soccer Invitational tournament on Thursday.

George Brown was stellar defensively during the round-robin. They put up clean sheets in all three matches against Canadore, St. Lawrence and Laurier Brantford to finish first in their group. Cynthia Pellegrino recorded two of the team’s six goals during this span. 

In a very hard contest in the semi-finals against UTM, the Huskies could not find the back of the net. They ultimately fell 1-0 to the Eagles.

Up Next: The Huskies have a week off before they are back in action. They will travel to Oakville, Ont., for the Sheridan Invitational on Saturday, February 15th.
