DO COITO MAKES HISTORY AGAINST SURGE

DO COITO MAKES HISTORY AGAINST SURGE

Mark Do Coito became the men's soccer program's all-time leading scorer with 39 goals in a 3-2 victory over the St. Lawrence Surge on Sunday (Oct. 5) afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED: For the fourth straight match, the Huskies scored within the opening 10 minutes, this time courtesy of Markus Fracasso in the 8th. In the 27th, Do Coito converted a penalty kick in front of friends and family on Grad Day to set the new record and move to fourth all-time in OCAA scoring. The Huskies led 2-0 at halftime.

St. Lawrence rallied with goals in the 39th and 51st minutes to tie it, but Marsel Ismaili sealed the win in the 83rd with a top-corner strike from distance.

The Huskies are now on a four-game winning streak.

UP NEXT: The Huskies visit the Fleming Phoenix on Wednesday (Oct. 8) night. Kickoff is 7 p.m.
