The Huskies dropped a close 2-1 decision to the St. Lawrence Surge at home on Sunday (Oct. 5) afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED: After a scoreless first half, the Huskies struck early in the second. In the opening minute, Iman Bhanji delivered a perfect through ball from the back line to spring Keely Toussaint, who made no mistake in the 46th minute. The Surge responded quickly, Bianca Fumagalli set up Junelle McClain in the 53rd minute and later scored the game-winner in the 83rd.
UP NEXT: The Huskies wrap up their 2025 season on the road when they head to Ottawa, Ont., to battle the Algonquin Wolves. Game starts at 6pm.
