The Huskies continued their impressive 2020 season. They repeated as champions at the GBC Indoor Soccer Invitational on Thursday.

George Brown continued their undefeated streak in group play in their third tournament. They won all three matches while outscoring their opponents (Seneca, St. Lawrence, Canadore) 19-0 to earn a spot in the semi-finals. Zuheib Mohamed was beast recording nine goals in that span. 

Mohamed continued his impressive play scoring one of the Huskies two goals to take down the Georgian Grizzlies 2-1 in the semi-finals. For the second time at the tournament, George Brown faced Seneca this time in the final. Key goals from Tiago De Jesus and Mathew Da Silva helped the Huskies defend their title with a 2-1 victory over the Sting. 

Up Next: The Huskies have a week off before they are back in action. They will travel to Oakville, Ont., for the Sheridan College Invitational on Saturday, February 15th.
