ATHLETES OF THE WEEK

After impressive performances at the OCAA Provincial Championships, Men's Indoor Soccer players Jason Alvarado and Mark Do Coito are your Huskies Athletes of the Week for the period ending March 10th.

Jason Alvarado
The fourth-year defender played a pivotal role in the team claiming a bronze medal at the OCAA Provincial Indoor Soccer Championships.

He played most of the five games and was a huge reason the Huskies only allowed one goal per game for two days. His efforts didn't go unnoticed, as he was named an OCAA Championship All-Star.


Mark Do Coito
The third-year midfielder helped the Huskies win the bronze medal, scoring two crucial goals against Fanshawe. This achievement marked the program's sixth medal in the last eight seasons.

Throughout Provincials, Do Coito demonstrated versatility, impacting both sides of the ball. He played a significant role in orchestrating attacks while providing stability defensively, and being on the field the majority of the games.
