Women's Basketball guard Jordyn Dawkins and Men’s Basketball guard Iffy Chiekwe have been named the Huskies Athletes of the Week for the period ending January 26.
In two victories over the weekend, the guard averaged 21.5 points, nine rebounds, 3.5 steals, and two assists while shooting 55% from the field.
His best performance came on Sunday against St. Lawrence. He scored seven of his season-high 26 points in overtime while grabbing a team-high 11 rebounds in the victory.
The third-year guard contributed effectively in multiple areas over the weekend. She averaged 18 points, eight rebounds, 3.5 steals, and two assists across the team’s two games.
She was spectacular against Loyalist, recording 21 points, 11 rebounds, and four steals. All were team-highs.
