Baseball closes season series between Durham and Fanshawe

After doubleheader losses 5-3 and 8-6 to the Seneca Sting, Men's Baseball looks to rebound as they face off against Durham and Fanshawe this week.
The Lords currently lead the season series 1-0 over the Huskies. The team will look to both 2nd-year 3rd baseman Brandon Nieva and US Transfer Mitchell Triolo to continue to perform on both sides of the ball. Durham is currently 4-6 on the season. First pitch of Game 1 is scheduled for 6pm on Wednesday, September 25th at Christie Pits.
George Brown will then hit the road over the weekend as they travel down to London to face off against the Falcons at Labatt Park. The Huskies will look to sweep the season series as they hold a 2-0 lead over Fanshawe. The Falcons are 1-7 on the season, coming off a set of losses against the Lords this past weekend. First pitch scheduled for 1pm.
Soccer preps for two game homestand

Falling to Seneca, both the Men's and Women's soccer teams will look to reset as they welcome both Cambrian Golden Shield and the Sault Cougars to Esther Shiner Stadium this weekend.
Dropping one of two meetings against Cambrian last year, the women's team will look to re-write the script this year as this will be the only meeting between the two teams. Cambrian is currently 1-3 on the season coming off a 2-1 loss to Durham. kick-off scheduled for 12pm
Taking both meetings last year against Cambrian, the Men's team will look to get its first win of the season against the Golden Shield. The team will look to 2018 CCAA All Canadian and league scoring leader Filipe Vilela to continue his hot streak against Cambrian, as Vilela had six of the team's 10 goals against Cambrian last season. Cambrian is currently 0-3-1 on the season coming off a loss to Durham. Kick-off scheduled for 2pm
Both teams will then have a quick turn around as they will take on the Sault College Cougars on Sunday, September 29th. Sault Men's soccer team currently sits at 0-4 and the Women's team sits 1-3, with both teams coming off losses to Durham College over the weekend. Kick-off scheduled for 12pm
Cross Country take short trip to Seneca for 2nd meet of the season

Cross Country will travel just north of the city as they will take part in their second meet of the season at Seneca College King Campus.
The Huskies will look to keep building on their performance from this past weekend in Peterborough where Kenzie Osbourne was the team's top runner for both sides placing 5th out of 15 runners in the women's race. Osbourne will look to continue her strong effort when the team travels to Seneca. Women's race starts at 11am followed by the men's race at 12pm.
Pre Season Competition
(September 27th-29th) Women's Volleyball will take part in the Université de Saint-Boniface Tournament in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
(September 27th-28th) Women's Basketball will take part in pre-season tournament hosted by Mohawk College, Hamilton.
(September 27th-28th) Men's Basketball will take part in pre-season tournament hosted by St. Lawrence College, Kingston.
