HUSKIES FALL IN SEASON FINALE

The women's soccer team was edged out 4-0 to the St. Lawrence Surge on the road Saturday (Oct. 14) afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED: The Huskies came out of the half trailing 1-0, but then the Surge offence exploded for three goals in nine minutes between the 49th the the 58th minute.

George Brown had their fair share of chances, generating eight shots, but couldn't get one by Surge goalkeeper Jordan Harry.

UP NEXT: The Huskies are off to the playoffs, finishing in sixth place in the East Division with a 4-5-1 record. The team will face the Centennial Colts on the road in the first round of the playoffs. It marks the second time these two squads will meet in the first round in the last three seasons. All the action begins on Wednesday (Oct. 18) night at 6pm.
