The women's volleyball team gave it everything they had but dropped a tight 3-1 (22-25, 29-31, 26-24, 14-25) decision to the Durham Lords on the road Thursday night.

NOTABLE STATS: Second-year outside hitter Taylor Grant posted a team-high 16 points on 13 kills and three service aces. It marks the seventh time this season she has hit double-digit points.

Second-year outside hitter Julia Gordon registered 10 points on 10 kills, while fourth-year middle Crystal Nguyen chipped in with 10 points on seven kills, two service aces and a block.

First-year libero Claire Ramos recorded a match-high 19 digs, and first-year setter Emilija Rudzitis filled up the stat sheet with a match-high 35 assists, four points, and 13 digs.
