HUSKIES DROP FIVE-SETTER TO CENTENNIAL

In the first match on Super Saturday, the Huskies fell 3-2 (21-25, 25-22, 26-24, 21-25, 13-15) to the Centennial Colts on Saturday (Jan. 27) afternoon at home.

NOTABLE STATS: Second-year outside hitter Kaarina Niemimaa led the way with a team-high 16 points on 12 kills, three service aces and a block while posting 12 digs.

Second-year outside hitter Julia Gordon tallied 11 points from seven kills, two service aces, and two blocks, while first-year setter Amilija Rudzitis recorded four points, 30 assists, and 17 digs in the match.

With the loss, George Brown sits in seventh place in the East Division with a 5-11 record.
