Women's Volleyball middle Crystal Nguyen and Men’s Volleyball outside hitter Daniel Kwan are your Huskies Athletes of the Week for the period ending January 21st.

Crystal Nguyen
The fourth-year middle was a consistent threat for the Huskies as she recorded 20 points from 13 kills, five service aces and two blocks while adding six digs over two matches.

Nguyen filled up the stat sheet against the Fleming Phoenix. She tallied 10 points on six kills, three service aces, and a block in the team’s shutout victory. She also recorded a .625 hitting percentage in the match.

Daniel Kwan
The second-year outside was spectacular for the Huskies. In two matches, he posted 33 points on 31 kills, a service ace and a block while registering 14 digs.

His most notable performance came against the Durham Lords in a five-set win on Friday (Jan. 18) night. He registered a career-high 19 points on 17 kills, a service ace and a block. He also added 10 digs in the match.
