HUSKIES FALL TO CANADORE

The Huskies dropped their season-finale match to the Canadore Panthers by a score of 3-0 (22-25, 22-25, 16-25) at home on Saturday (Feb. 3) night.

NOTABLE STATS: First-year outside hitter Ronan Vezsenyi tallied 11 points on 10 kills and a service ace, while second-year outside hitter David Kiswa recorded 11 points from nine kills and two service aces. 

UP NEXT: The Huskies finish the season in fourth place with an 11-7 record. It marks the third time in program history and the first time since 2018 that George Brown will host a crossover playoff match.

Their opponent is the Humber Hawks on Saturday, February 10th, at St. James. First serve is at 6pm.

George Brown College Athletics and Recreation would like to thank our graduating students for their commitment to the team over their Huskies careers. Our 2023-24 graduating Men's Volleyball student-athletes are: 


#7 Daniel Kwan
Kwan has played a pivotal role in the team's success in his first season with the program. In 14 matches, he has recorded 130 kills, 63 digs, seven blocks, and eight service aces, ranking near the top in almost every offensive category for the team. The outside hitter's contributions have helped the Huskies host their first cross-over playoff match since 2018. He will graduate from the Project Management Program.


#10 Amirhossein Ghoreshi

A member of the Huskies men's volleyball team since 2022, Amirhossein has showcased his skills and commitment. In 18 matches, he has posted 62 kills, 23 blocks, and 22 digs. His dedication will be missed as he leaves the program. He will graduate from the Business program.
