ATHLETES OF THE WEEK

Women’s Basketball forward Gloria Osasuyi and Men’s Volleyball outside hitter David Froebel are your Huskies Athletes of the Week for the period ending November 26th.

The first-year forward recorded her third double-double of the season in the 61-52 Huskies win over the St. Lawrence Surge with 13 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and two steals while shooting 60% from the field.

The first-year outside hitter was simply unstoppable in the Huskies two matches this past week. He tallied 59 points on 54 kills, two service aces and two blocks while adding 15 digs.

His best performance came against the Canadore Panthers when he tallied a career-high 33 points off 31 kills and two blocks in a losing effort.
