Men's Indoor Soccer players Mark Do Coito and Yonis Jama have been named Huskies Athletes of the Week for the period ending March 9th.
The fourth-year defender was one of the best all-around players at the tournament. He tallied three goals and three assists during the Provincial Championships, including the lone marker in the final. His defensive play was also crucial, helping the Huskies concede just five goals over five matches. Thanks to his efforts, the team earned a silver medal, and he was named an OCAA Championship All-Star.
In his final week representing the Huskies on the field, the fifth-year striker was spectacular. He posted a team-high four goals and added three primary assists during the Provincial Championships. His contributions were a key reason the Huskies secured a silver medal, and he was recognized as an OCAA Championship All-Star. His standout performance came during the round robin, where he recorded a hat-trick in a 3-1 win over Centennial.
