The biggest OCAA collegiate badminton event of the season to date will take place this coming weekend at George Brown's St. James Campus. The East Division Regional Championship draws the best players from across the east this year.
George Brown, among the most dominant programs nationally over the last year, will once again put a very strong team on the floor with many of the players already won national and provincial medals.
Entrants in the tournament include George Brown, Boreal, Centennial, Georgian, Seneca and St. Lawrence.
Play kicks off at 10:00am on Friday morning, and will continue until approximately 5:00 p.m., with more action on Saturday. The schedule will be finalized on Friday morning at the coaches meeting.
Entry, as with all George Brown Varsity events, is free to attend.
