George Brown indoor soccer will head to Ancaster for the Redeemer Invitational this weekend, with the women playing on Friday and the men's team on Saturday.

The men's team is looking for their second consecutive tournament win to open the season after going a perfect 5-0 at the Centennial Invitational to earn a title last week. The Huskies outscored their opponents 13-2 on the day, and head coach John Williams is excited about the talent and experience on the roster. "We have a nice mix of guys, and they did a pretty good job of playing our system," said Williams. "Of course there is a lot to be improved upon, but it was a good way to start the season."

This will be the women's first tournament of the season, and they are looking to continue building on a successful past year of play. The outdoor team qualified for a crossover playoff game for the first time in years this fall, while last year's indoor team won a couple of tournaments including their own.

Both the men's and women's teams are in identical groups featuring UTM, St. Clair, Redeemer and Centennial and will play identical round robin schedules as well. See below for the Huskies tournament schedule.
