The George Brown Huskies men's volleyball team completed a perfect opening week with a 3-1 (18-25, 25-8, 28-26, 28-26) victory over the Loyalist Lancers on the road Sunday afternoon.

NOTABLE STATS: Second-year outside hitter Arsam Talebi powered up for a match-high 16 points off 13 kills, two aces and a block, while second-year outside hitter Samuel Delgado recorded 11 points off 11 kicks as well as tallying seven digs. 

First-year outside hitter Amiel Dela Rosa posted 10 points on eight kills, an ace and a block and also chipped in with seven digs. In addition, first-year libero Jerick Rodriguez was simply amazing defensively, collecting a match-high 12 digs in the victory.

UP NEXT: The Huskies go on a road trip next weekend, and it begins on Saturday afternoon when they face the Canadore Panthers (1-0). First serve is at 3 pm.
