The George Brown Huskies women's volleyball team fought hard but dropped a close 3-1 (25-22, 15-25, 23-25, 21-25) decision to the Seneca Sting at home on Thursday night.

NOTABLE STATS: Fourth-year outside hitter Angelique Agustin recorded a team-high 15 points off of 15 kills. Third-year outside hitter Ashley Lau scored nine points on eight kills and a service ace while posting a team-high 11 digs.

Second-year outside hitter Megi Memcaj registered nine points on seven kills and two service aces, while second-year middle Crystal Nguyen also posted nine points on seven kills and two service aces in the loss.

George Brown's record falls to 2-3, while Seneca improves to 3-1.

UP NEXT: The Huskies are back in action on Saturday afternoon when they travel to Oshawa, Ont., to battle the Durham Lords (4-0). First serve is at 1 pm.
