George Brown’s Jennifer Seguin was recognized for her outstanding season, being named a Central Division All-Star in her first OCAA season.
The first-year midfielder has been nothing but stellar since arriving at George Brown College. Throughout the regular season, she was a significant contributor to the offence in 2021, leading the Huskies with a team-high four goals in six matches.
One of the most vital positions on the pitch is central midfielder, given the player has responsibilities on both sides of the ball. Seguin’s ability to impact the game in various areas for the Huskies is a massive reason she earned this honour. She displayed one of the best individual performances in the OCAA. She recorded a hat-trick in the opening 23 minutes of the match to help the Huskies beat the Sault Cougars 4-0 and secure a much-needed victory.
