The George Brown women's volleyball team (11-5) lost in five sets (25-18, 25-14, 25-23, 25-22, 15-13) against the Loyalist Lancers (5-12) Saturday afternoon (Feb 4). The men's team (2-14) lost in four sets to the Lancers (25-18, 25-16, 25-20, 25-18).
HOW IT HAPPENED – WVB: After winning the first two sets (25-18, 25-14), the Huskies entered the third set determined to leave Belleville with the win. Unfortunately, the Lancers had other plans. The fourth set saw both sides fight for every point with neither side allowing the other to get too far out in front. When the Huskies made a run, the Lancers would follow up with a run of their own. In the end, the Lancers would go on to tie the match at two piece after taking the fourth set 25-22. In the fifth and deciding set, the Lancers would seal the comeback taking down the Huskies 15-13.
