Women’s outside hitter Julia Gordon and Men’s Volleyball left-side hitter Ronan Vezsenyi have been named the Huskies Athletes of the Week for the period ending October 27th.
Julia Gordon, Women’s Volleyball
The third-year outside hitter registered 22 points from 21 kills and one service ace while adding 12 digs over two matches.
She was a catalyst in the team’s victory over the Fleming Phoenix, posting 12 points on a match-high 11 kills and one service ace.
Ronan Vezsenyi, Men’s Volleyball
The second-year left-side hitter recorded 22 points on 14 kills, six service aces and two blocks, while adding six digs.
He was clutch against the Fleming Phoenix, posting a match-high six service aces, three kills, and a block for a total of 10 points in the shutout victory.
