Yaroslav Svidritskiy made history, becoming the first volleyball player in program history to be named both the OCAA East Division Player of the Year and a CCAA All-Canadian, while Andrew Rong took home two pieces of hardware.
Svidritskiy made an immediate impact in his first OCAA season, cementing his place in Huskies men's volleyball history. He became the first player in program history to earn East Division Player of the Year, CCAA All-Canadian, and OCAA League Scoring Champion honours. On top of that, he was named an East Division First Team All-Star. The 6'8 left-side hitter led the province in total points (334), points per set (5.1), total kills (277), and kills per set (4.20). He also ranked in the top 10 in hitting percentage and total service aces.
Rong made a name for himself as one of the top setters in the province during his first OCAA season. He was named an OCAA East Division Second Team All-Star and earned a spot on the East Division All-Rookie Team. Rong ranked fifth in the OCAA in total assists (469) and assists per set (7.82). Among starting setters, he finished first in blocks per set, second in points per set (1.2), and third in kills per set.
