What can Vitamin D do for you as an athlete?

Emerging evidence is suggesting that Vitamin D plays an important role in an athletes health, training and performance.

Bone Health

Vitamin D influences bone health by enhancing intestinal absorption of calcium. Recent studies have shown that it can reduce the incidence of stress fractures.

Performance

A recent study found that Vitamin D levels were correlated with jump height, velocity and power in young athletes.
