HUSKIES EDGE OUT SENECA

The men's soccer team came from behind to take down the Seneca Sting 2-1 on the road Tuesday (Sept. 12) night.

HOW IT HAPPENED: George Brown dominated the possession early on, but the Seneca Sting struck first off Paiman Sultani's foot in the 32nd minute. The score remained the same at the half.

In the second half, the dominant possession theme continued for George Brown; this time, they converted on a few chances. In the first minute of the second half, fourth-year midfielder Jason Alvarado found the back of the next and second-year midfielder Gianfranco Gileppo followed up with another marker in the 67th minute.

The Huskies held last year's OCAA silver medalist to just three shots on goal in the match.
