HUSKIES BOUNCE FLEMING

The men's soccer team blew out the Fleming Phoenix 12-0 at home on Friday (Sept. 15) night.

 

HOW IT HAPPENED: The team didn't waste any time getting on the board. In just the third minute, fourth-year midfielder Jason Alvarado set up fourth-year midfielder Daniel McIntosh for the easy tap-in. First-year Matthias Broomes then scored two goals in seven minutes between the 28th and the 35th minute. He went on to record a career-high four goals in the match.

David Asher, Ryan Husynni, Yonis Jama, and Nathan Alphonse also found the back of the net in the victory.

UP NEXT: These two teams will have a rematch on Wednesday (Sept. 20) night, this time in Peterborough, Ont.
