The men's soccer team holds off a late push from the Durham Lords to beat them 2-1 on the road Wednesday (Oct. 4) night. 

HOW IT HAPPENED: This season, a consistent theme for the Huskies has been getting out to fast starts. Second-year midfielder Julian DeSousa scored in the 11th minute, and the team held on to that lead at the half. 

DeSousa was at it again early in the second half, recording his seventh goal of the season in the 47th minute. The Lords cut into the deficit in the 63rd minute but couldn't find the equalizer. 

UP NEXT: The Huskies will host the Cambrian Golden Shield on Saturday (Oct. 7) in the afternoon. Kickoff is at 3pm.
